Timberhut nightclub in Phuket CityAddress: 118/1 Yaowarat Rd, Phuket City. Timber Hut is probably the liveliest of these. Laid out like a typical Western rock pub, with rustic furnishings, the place is generally very quiet early in the evening, but once the live music starts at around 9pm, the place gets packed, especially on weekends, and the dance floor pulsates to the sounds of rock and roll until the early hours. Timberhut is best visited during the week when there are less people. The crowd is half Thai, half foreigners and so the place can feel a little weird at times. There aren’t a whole bunch of clubs in Phuket City, but Timberhut is worth a look if you’re in town. The drinks are cheap enough and the boys and girls are a young, friendly bunch out for a good time. |
